The Joy of Being Here

At the heart of this canvas is the very important theme — for me, the value of a simple, quiet presence together and involvement in the space of the house. The figures of a man and a woman at the table are not tied to a specific event: this is a visual story about the moment when everyday life is divided into two and turns into a form of deep trust.
The composition is based on the powerful rhythm of the black and white cage of the table, large planes of the red background and a juicy yellow accent. I deliberately simplified the silhouettes of people and collected the space as a decorative collage, where a large bouquet of chamomiles and lavender becomes an equal participant in the scene. This approach made it possible to cut off household prose and translate the plot into a plane of pure energy of color, balance and peace.
