About the artist
Elena Kalmyk (E.Ka) — is a multidisciplinary artist from Zhodino (Belarus). She graduated from art school in Omsk (Russia) and art college in Mstislavl (Belarus).
Since 2013, he has been combining creative practice with teaching art.
The author works at the intersection of relief painting, wall sculpture and conceptual symbolism, focusing on the creation of three-dimensional relief compositions.
Through complex, tangible volumes of paper clay and aged textures of plaster plaster, it turns each work into a living story. The goal of her art — is to immerse the viewer in the space of author's realism. Through revitalizing forms and tactile surfaces, the author seeks to manifest the hidden soul of the surrounding world, to expose the thin line between nature and the human subconscious, awakening a deep sense of secrets in a person.
