Svetlana Lak

My name is Svetlana Luck. I am a modern Russian artist whose creative path has become an inspiring example of the search for a true purpose. My childhood and youth were spent in Kazakhstan, in an atmosphere of endless travel with my parents. It was this early experience that shaped my deep connection with nature and my ability to see harmony in a changing world.
Despite my innate craving for drawing, my first professional choice fell on jurisprudence. After graduating from the Altai Academy of Economics and Law, I built a successful career, devoting more than 10 years to legal practice. However, the turning point was the motherhood of — during this period, the inner need for creation broke out, opening a new chapter in my life, full of experiments and the development of new skills.
For more than ten years I have devoted myself to art. Impressionism and abstractionism dominate my work. I masterfully work with color and form, creating works on the verge of unconscious improvisation. My paintings — is a game of symbols and color spots, inviting the viewer to a dialogue. The technical arsenal is extensive: I combine oil, acrylic and pastel with sand, gilding and textured pastes, creating bulky reliefs with mastichine.
I actively work to order, creating paintings that perfectly integrate into specific interiors. The experience of interaction with customers has shown that my work can not only decorate the space, but also give owners a sense of serenity and peace. My paintings invite the viewer to escape from the hustle and bustle and look at the usual things through the prism of the author's reality, filled with light, harmony and inner freedom.

I work in my country house and in a studio apartment.
