The Joy of Being Here
This monumental work was born out of admiration for the female image, the beauty of ripe fruits and the rhythms of ornaments. A young woman surrounded by lemons and decorative fabrics becomes the center of a bright, pulsating space, where the familiar motif of the southern market or shop develops into visual meditation.
I decided to make the interior of the picture not just a background, but an independent emotional environment. Inspired by modernist traditions, I built a canvas on the interaction of large local spots, juicy citrus tones and expressive patterns. I deliberately abandoned anatomical documentation to emphasize the textured tactility of acrylic and create a large-scale interior art object that charges the space with pure vitality.
