The Geometry of Joy series

The impetus for creating this work was the desire to play with pure geometry and graphic rhythm, which can turn the usual evening still life into a stylish interior sign.
The composition is based on a strict dialogue of objects: a dark green silhouette of a bottle, a filled glass and a contrasting white heart with a red pattern in the middle. The whole scene is held by a powerful field of black and white chess cage of the table. I consciously abandoned the complex shadows and volumes in favor of a smooth local yellow background in order to expose the rhythm of the lines and convey to the viewer a sense of graphic order, collectivity and stability.
