The Joy of Being Here
This work was born as a reflection on moments of internal transitions, tangible memory and road rituals. Vintage travel suitcases and a bouquet of bright yellow mimosa at the open door of the railway car add up to a cinematic story about the way, changing life stages or returning home.
The intentionally industrial, strict background of the train I balanced with a warm, luminous palette of objects. I deliberately moved away from the excessive technical detail of the car to focus the viewer's attention on emotional markers: the suitcases here symbolize the accumulated experience, and the mimosa — hope and inner light. It turned out to be a laconic decorative plot about the moment frozen between the past and the future.
