The Distraction (film)

The picture was born after a trip to Australia and became a reflection on the invisible connections that unite all living things. Starting from the real landscape, it gradually turns into an internal one, where memory, emotions and immediate impression exist simultaneously.

Lilies and fragile plants cease to belong only to a specific place. They become fragments of a common space in which nature and human perception continuously reflect each other. Here the landscape does not exist as an object of observation, but as a continuation of the internal state.

The work suggests for a moment to distract from the constant movement of the outside world and return to a quiet contemplation, in which the boundaries between man and nature become less tangible, opening a sense of interconnectedness of all things.
