Dari Romanov

I am Dari Romanova, and this name came to me after my inner turning point. It sounded like a gift to me. A gift of life that I explore in my art.
Painting has always been a part of my life. I have been painting since I was a child, but after studying at art school I did not want to continue this path. I received a director's education, worked for many years with the image and feeling of – shooting, photographing. She was an art therapist, researcher, conductor.
But two years ago, there was a turning point in my life, and the painting returned to – as if it had never left. All the knowledge that had been lost for years was reborn inside, as if it had always been sewn into me.
I began to explore —'s own art form, the pure sprout that had been planted as a child.
At the heart of my work is –'s exploration of the light of life. He's the one who brought me back. Light is not a phenomenon, but a prism through which I can explore the world around me and its living forms. Translate your own feelings into something visible and tangible. To give form to what is between the visible and the invisible, the look and the feeling.
Now my eyes are turning more and more to the animal world. I am attracted to his lively fragility – truth, vulnerability and subtle contact with his own purity.

For me, the art of – is an exploration of the light of life and an opportunity to capture it in my paintings.

My workshop is at home. I have my own corner of creativity and freedom created inside my space. Here everything lives by my rules and is arranged as I feel it.
I modify it according to my feelings. Everything is decorated with my paintings, treasures found, gifts from long journeys. Every element of – is part of my inner world.
And, of course, the most important materials for work are collected in boxes and boxes. This is my treasury.
I like to create at home, because for me there is the freedom of – to create not only art, but also the space around me as I feel it. At any time of life.
