The Day Moon in the Birch Branches

This painting – is part of the painting series "Among the Branches", dedicated to the themes of memory and space.

"Day Moon in Birch Branches" is about childhood, nostalgia and the art of noticing. Cool air during walks after school, surrounding panels (a type of house common in the post-Soviet space) and birch branches.

I remember when I was little, I saw the moon for the first time in the afternoon, right in front of the sun. It seemed impossible, because the moon – at night, the sun – during the day. Then my little heart trembled with delight.

That's how this job was born.
