Step into a world where the first breath of summer heat meets the ancient hum of the hidden forest. This work captures a fleeting, mythical world that exists between the folds of reality.
The Myth:
The first summer heat rings in the air. Under the forest canopy, May beetles and dragonflies buzz low, hiding in fluffy crowns with tender young leaves.
But this forest is not simple — know it, traveler. The trees here are flexible and changeable, with thin pliable branches. Fireflies live in them during the day; Night — distant stars. Sids dance here in the evenings. Tapes dance in the wind, entangled in their long hair. And these tapes are quietly ringing tiny bells.
If you see them, —, hide and don't reveal your presence. Or go out openly — and dance, dance with them, traveler, until the first rays of the May dawn.
This painting preserves the memory of the ancient — forest, which is no longer in our reality. But this story still lives on the branches of "May Trees Rite" #8 & #9" — where the ribbons are swaying, the voices of the Shining Yard are heard, and their tiny bells are still ringing.
The work is perfect for a cozy reading corner, a shelter bedroom or a chamber gallery wall. Its dark atmospheric palette is combined with modern interiors with deep wall colors, as well as with boho and eclectic spaces where art, texture and a share of magic are valued.
