Yes, the sensations will be different, but we can see and feel much more than when moving the physical body in space.

We open social networks and see the ideal world of ideal people. Everything is beautiful and bright, everyone is happy and successful. While reality often looks completely different...

I wanted to show this contrast in my picture Unrealand (Unreal Earth).
Time to capture the junction of the two eras, because it still exists in reality.
Hence the division of the canvas space into two parts.
Top is a fantasy, a digital illusion - a girl in VR glasses, in her digital dream she is far from the place where her physical body is located. Lower — reality — she still arrives in her apartment, with Soviet-era attributes.
Although something foreign has already penetrated there - cola and pizza.

All too often I see this mix of present-time — technology of the future and relics of the past sometimes woven into bizarre forms and exist on an equal footing.
Too often — just doesn't notice this contrast.

This picture was written in 2021 and then I could not even imagine how widespread this phenomenon will be in the future, when running away from reality into the digital world will be almost the only way out and a sense of freedom for many people ... Of course, illusory.
