Blue Cup and Red Berries

Acrylic, canvas on cardboard / 2026
The Geometry of Joy series

At the heart of this canvas is the idea of a small daily ritual — cup of hot tea in moments of rest. The deep blue color of ceramics, red berries and green leaves add up to a cozy, tangible story about attention to detail.
The graphic basis of the work is set by the chess pattern of the table, with which the patterned cup rhymes. I deliberately gave up documentary accuracy, simplifying forms for the sake of conveying a whole mood.
