The Myth:
In the depths of the forest, the very concept of Depth has a special power.
Deep greenery embraces you at the very edge of the — forest, sheltering you from the sun and rain under a quiet, hospitable canopy. In the heart of the thicket are hidden unknown meetings and new paths.
In quiet streams and dark lakes lives a special — depth of tea color, olive or blackish-dark — spicy, disturbing depth, which has no bottom or shore. It's an eye. It's a mirror of a time that has already passed and which has yet to come — though not necessarily here.
Everyone who touches the Forest learns to swim in that Depth. Staying alone with her without drowning completely. And then return to — transformed.
These 3 works on — paper are independent works from the summer collection of 2026, in which the material works differently than on canvas: the pastel lies in layers on velvet, deep matte acrylic, and the surface begins to live its life — rough, breathable, almost tactile. For the collector, this is an opportunity to enter my practice through a more chambered, cozy format: the sheets can be held in your hands, viewed up close, replaced with places in the — house and each time find a new, personally your layer of Depth.
