Series "Portraits in feathers"

This canvas became the second, deeper approach to the peacock image. If peace was important to me in the first work, then the impulse here was the very feeling of monumental presence and calm confidence, which is broadcast through a single glance and does not require any external confirmation.
The composition is built on a hypnotic combination of rich blue, emerald and noble golden-yellow colors. The complete absence of foreign objects and a deaf black background concentrate all attention on the bird's view, turning the still-life format into a deep reflection on personal dignity.
