Picture of my native land. Where I spent all my childhood and youth. This place is located in the Tula region. A memory painting based on a photograph I took in 2023. The weather was wonderful, frosty — for a long time I did not remember such fabulous weather. That was the last time I saw my grandmother's close friend — alive.

When I found out about her loss, I was in another part of the country, so I couldn't say goodbye to her. Before that, I left painting classes for a year. But memories and loss prompted me to return to painting and create this work.
